Seafaring and Shell Museum of Viserbella
The Seafaring and Shell Museum of Viserbella opens for the holidays. It was set up in 1999 for the recovery of the history and maritime traditions of this small Rimini village.
The Museum preserves documents, artefacts and fishing equipment.
Typical boats, equipment for the different ways of fishing and the tools at the base of the artisan art of the shipwrights and caulkers are also exhibited here.
Furthermore, the Capici Collection, the most important collection of shells in the Mediterranean, is on display and a sector is dedicated to the fossils donated by Ivilia Rosa from Turin.
Visitors are welcomed by the traditional Marine Nativity scene, with the Nativity set up on a batana, the typical flat-bottomed boat.
Show of the figure skating champions, organized by Sport Life Rimini. In line with tradition, during the evening the World Champions of artistic roller skating, all the athletes of Sport Life, perform.

Traditional walk - non-competitive - for all ages in search of the Befane hidden in the maze of the narrow streets of the old fishing village and up to the square on the water at the Tiberius Bridge.
The participation fees (3 €) are entirely donated for charity and it is an occasion to do a small physical activity, to be shared with the whole family.

A run for enthusiasts and families with the extraordinary participation of Santa Claus along a protected route with departure and arrival on the Rimini seafront, passing through the city's parks, up to the shadow of the Arch of Augustus and finally return to Fellini Park. A celebration of sport, entertainment and solidarity.

Adults but above all children will go from house to house, singing traditional Christmas songs in both Italian and English.
Everyone can participate and no singing ability is required, the aim is to meet and give smiles.
Participation is free. The event is dedicated to families with school-age children.
The singing rehearsals are scheduled for the preceding days (27 November and 4 December from 3 to 4.30 pm, in the parish hall of the Church of the Beata Vergine del Carmine in Torre Pedrera).
The L. Benizzi Choral and Instrumental Group, directed by Maestro Pietro Ceccarelli and the City of Riccione Woman Ensemble Choir, directed by Maestro Marco Galli, perform in a concert on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.

Nativity scene at the Arch of Augustus
‘A Nativity scene for the city’ is the traditional Nativity scene of the Zavatta onlus centre, which represents the nativity scene in the heart of the historic center and is organized with the contribution of the Association's operators and with the involvement of people who attend training and social activities.
The nativity is set up according to tradition in the splendid setting of the Arch of Augustus, where it will remain on display until the weekend following the Epiphany. Inauguration Thursday 22 December at 11.00am, in the presence of the Bishop.
