Contemporary art exhibition at the City Museum

45 works of contemporary art by 36 artists, awarded in 2021 as part of the tender promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region to support the visual arts sector hit in the pandemic era, exhibited in Rimini, in the New Wing of the City Museum.
The works, were selected by a jury made up of accredited experts in the sector (Gloria Bartoli, Walter Guadagnini and Marco Pierini) with the aim of identifying "the variety of the research that is being developed in the Emilia-Romagna area, a faithful mirror of the variety that characterizes the contemporary artistic panorama ".
The New Wing of the Museum will also host two extraordinary donations from the Bolognese patron Francesco Amante, an art enthusiast entrepreneur, who granted to the Region ‘Collection of Paths’ (1995) by Emil Lukas and to the Municipality of Rimini ‘Terza camera’ (Lettiga) (2007) by Flavio Favelli.
The exhibition is curated by Cristina Ambrosini, Claudia Collina and Giovanni Sassu, with the collaboration of Alessandro Paolo Lena.

Concert-exchange of the guitar classes of the Romagna Institutes

The best students of the Guitar Classes of the Institutes of Romagna alternate on the stage in a six-string musical marathon which includes, in addition to the students of the Lettimi of the Guitar class of Maestro Giacomo Bigoni, the participation of students from the "B. Maderna "in Cesena, the" A. Canova "Music and Art High School in Forlì, the" G. Verdi "Higher Institute of Musical Studies in Ravenna and the San Marino Music Institute.
The event, starting at 5 pm, includes a short prologue at the Library of the Lettimi Institute, where a guitar ensemble made up of 25 students from the various institutes performs, then the concert of soloists and small chamber groups will be held in the Auditorium.

Sponc: Unconventional sport for everyone

National final event of the SPONC Project

Final phase of the project organized by CUSI (Italian University Sports Centers) in partnership with ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities), funded by the Department for Sport, which brought unconventional sports to 25 cities thanks to 25 territorial projects activated by local CUS.
The University Sports Centers are amateur sports associations which promote the practice of sports for all university students.
Unconventional sports games will be held on Saturday morning in Rimini, in the area near the ancient bridge of Tiberious. In the afternoon professionals from the sports world and local administrators will talk about the issues of health and sport in the city and university.
The results of the project and the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday morning.

Guided tours to discover Rimini

Visit Rimini's "Rimini city tours" are guided tours to discover the city, which can be booked up to a few minutes before departure (just arrive at the place of departure at least 15 minutes before). Tours depart from the Visitor Center on Sundays at 10.30am and guide you on a fascinating journey through the city.
These are cultural walks in the open, lasting about 90 minutes, which are also offered in English and French. Together with tourist guides and art historians, you will meet the most evocative places in Rimini: the Arch of Augustus, the Rimini Amphitheater, the Surgeon's House (outside) and the Tiberius Bridge will tell us about Roman Rimini. After a blitz into the Middle Ages with Porta Galliana, for the Renaissance we will visit the Malatesta Temple and Castel Sismondo (outside). And among the streets of the historic center, Piazza Cavour with the renovated Galli Theater and not far away is one of the symbolic monuments of Rimini in the 1900s: the Fulgor Cinema, whose history is partly linked to the well-known director Federico Fellini.

Urban visions by Davide Frisoni

PERLarte project at the Rimini Conference Center (Palacongressi)

After the exhibition with the works of Luca Giovagnoli and Davide Conti, and of the sixteen students of the Graphic Design 3 course of the LABA of Rimini (Free Academy of Fine Arts), is Davide Frisoni’s turn to propose his works in a multipurpose space of Palacongressi, the Convivio space, the area that the Palacongressi of Rimini has allocated to the PERLarte project, an initiative that adds a further element of knowledge of the territory through the language of contemporary art and the enhancement of a local artist.
The exhibition by the Rimini artist Davide Frisoni offers international places from which the artist drew inspiration, as well as of course the city of Rimini, a city dedicated to welcoming and meeting.
The exhibition is available to participants in the congresses scheduled at the Palacongressi in Rimini and by reservation for citizens and tourists.
On December 16-17-18, Davide Frisoni's exhibition is open to the public with free admission from 4 to 7 pm.

Exhibition of paintings from the sixteenth century to the present day at Palazzo Buonadrata

Inauguration of the Quadreria exhibition, with 50 works from the collection of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Rimini, never before exhibited to the public.
The collection of the Foundation's paintings will be divided into two locations: the historical one at the L. Tonini City Museum, with precious works from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century, and the one under construction at Palazzo Buonadrata which will present canvases from various periods, from the sixteenth century to the present day.
Among the works there is a canvas by Bernardino Zaganelli and one by Cagnacci.
