And the strong tradition of cycling has given life to a set of hotels equipped for these sorts of needs. Bike hotels are in fact the result of the passion and experience of hoteliers that are lovers of the two wheels and that share their enthusiasm with their biking guests every day. They manage to satisfy the needs of professional bikes or simply those that are fans of cycling, thanks to the elevated standard of specialised services, such as expert cycling guides, bike shops and storage, catering for athletes, bike and mountain bike itineraries, with maps of all the trails on two wheels.

Starting from the coast, it’s possible to reach the Regional Park of Sasso Simone and Simoncello, which boasts seven bridle paths and is suitably equipped with accommodation facilities for the shelter and solace for the riders. The Marecchia valley is also a paradise for free climbing and sport climbing, thanks to its rocky cliffs in Verucchio, San Leo, San Marino, Maiolo, Perticara and Pennabili, which configure a path known as Valmarecchia in verticale, also with a climbing school. This area has also become a point of reference for adventure trail enthusiasts, with the likes of Sky Park, fly fishing and catch and release, offering the clearest waters, charming landscape and a guaranteed abundance of catches. Sport fishing is practiced in many lakes such as the Fips of Poggio Berni, Igea Marina, the equipped areas of Coriano and in many other locations. Other opportunities such as hiking are just as exciting, with marked trails, both in the areas of greatest environmental value, such as the Wildlife Oasis of Torriana and Montebello, the Nature Reserve of Onferno in which boasts caves, and the Regional Park of Sasso Simone and Simoncello, as well as in the hills and level ground.
