Cycling in Rimini

Rimini offers a wide variety of routes to those who travel by bike through its network of cycling paths (over 90 km). The cycling routes along the coast line and in the old town go directly to the slopes of the green hills in the charming countryside.

Cycling path Marecchia: this unsurfaced path in the green area of Rimini (about 20 kilometers, recommended for mountain bikes) starts in Rivabella (the diverter of Marecchia river) runs over the wooden bridge, for pedestrian and bicycles, crossing the river and arrives into the green park XXV Aprile which leads to the Tiberius Bridge. From here the cycling path continues along the ancient riverbed of Marecchia up to Villa Verucchio and through a wonderful landscape to Saiano (Sanctuary).

Paved city roads:

- Piazzale Kennedy - Parco V Peep passing through the Conference Center: the departure is in the beach area, Piazzale Kennedy, and goes up the green park Ausa. After it crosses via Roma (at this point you can also turn to the right towards the old town’s wall), the bike path continues along the Roman amphitheater and through a gate in the city walls which leads in the heart of the historic center, a short walk from the Duomo (the Cathedral). Then it enters in Parco Cervi where you can admire the ancient walls and the Arch of Augustus. Continues through the park until via della Fiera (the Conference Center) leading to the quarry lake in the great park nearby via Euterpe, where you can play and making sport activities following the "life paths".

- Lungomare: if you prefer the beautiful view of the sea there is the bicycle path from the port channel of Rimini along the seafront until Miramare, just a few steps from the beach.
