Rimini Airport is known as "Federico Fellini" International Airport and it is also the Rimini and San Marino International Airport since 2018.
It is located in the hamlet of Miramare about 8 km from the center of Rimini. It is an international airport that offers both national and international connections.

The airport is open all year round, but scheduled flights usual run until October and will restart in March.

By car: From the A14 motorway, Rimini sud exit, via via Circonvallazione Nuova / SS16 and via Flaminia / SS16. Distance: about 6 Km. Journey time: about 10 minutes
By train: from Rimini station to Miramare station. Distance: about 5 km. Journey time: about 6 minutes. Miramare Station is 1 km from the airport.
By bus: Line n. 9 from the Rimini railway station. Distance: about 6.5 Km. Journey time: about 30 minutes

Wizz Air, one of Europe’s leading low-cost carriers, offers weekly flights in 2026 to Tirana, Sofia, Katowice, and Budapest, along with a new Rimini–Chișinău route to the Moldovan capital.

Ryanair operates several routes to Rimini, including connections with Kaunas, Budapest, Palermo, Prague, Krakow, London Stansted, Vienna, Cologne and Wrocław. Ryanair also provides domestic links between Rimini, Cagliari, and Palermo.

easyJet offers flights to London Gatwick and Basel, with two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays (starting from late March).

British Airways is operating three weekly flights between Rimini and London Heathrow in 2026.

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2026

Wizz Air is further expanding its reach from Rimini International Airport with the Rimini–Chișinău route. This new service to the Moldovan capital launches on 9 June, with two flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

From 21 May, Wizz Air will connect "Federico Fellini" Airport to Warsaw, the Polish capital, with four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Tickets are already available at wizzair.com.

From 8 June to 23 October 2026, Wizz Air opens the new Rimini–Budapest route, operated by a 239-seat Airbus A321 three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Tickets are now available online.

The Rimini–Sofia route will commence on 31 March 2026, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The Rimini–Katowice connection starts on 8 June 2026, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Info:  www.wizzair.com

SkyUp Airlines has also announced flights to and from Chișinău, Moldova, between 20 May and 17 October 2026. Connections will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Saturdays. Tickets are already available for purchase: www.skyup.aero/en

From Sunday 29 March until 22 October 2026, a new direct flight to Poland—Wrocław–Rimini—will be operated by Ryanair with weekly connections (Sundays and Thursdays). Additionally, from 30 March 2026, LOT Polish Airlines has scheduled six new weekly connections between Warsaw and Bologna.
Starting in June 2026, Rimini airport will offer twice-weekly flights to Manchester (Wednesdays and Sundays) through October 24th. Cologne will be served three times a week (Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) from June 1st to October 24th, while Catania will also have three weekly connections (Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) from June 2nd to October 23rd.
