It is the northernmost locality at 7km from Rimini's city centre (and can be reached by city bus in 20 minutes, by bus n.4 or by taxi).
The Rimini Nord exit from the A14 motorway leads directly to Torre Pedrera.

Two kilometres of beach,  the typical breakwater reefs, the friendliness of the bathing attendants and of the tourist committee members who are always ready to organize parties where fish and Sangiovese wine are served.

Hospitality is guaranteed by the wide range of possiblities offered: from the small family-run hotels to the higher category hotels, from the private flats to the camping grounds.

Along the street that parallels the railway line there is a local market once a week but, naturally, the busier commercial centre, with its boutiques, pizza restaurants, coffee bars and souvenir shops, is in the promenade area.

History of the town: it is named after the old tower built by the Papal State in 1673.
The residents used to build their houses by employing the river bed's stones; this accounts for the town's name Torre della Pedreira.
By virtue of its geographical position it played an important role against Pirates and Turks.
