The typical wines of Romagna
Five are the D.O.C. (Denominazione di Origine Controllata= Protected Appellation of Origin) wines called "Colli di Rimini", which are pleasant companions to Sangiovese di Romagna red wine.
It is said that they reflect the spirit of the people of Rimini, profoundly rooted in local traditions, but at the same time open to all that is international and cosmopolitan.
They are, therefore, a splendid accompaniment to the cuisine of Romagna, to Italy’s other regional cuisine, and to international cuisine as well.
These wines excellently complement both meat and fish dishes, and are also ideal with cakes and dry pastries, the sweet taste of which will linger on the palate.
