The Rimini Film Festival is organized by Confindustria Romagna, Cinema Fulgor, University of Bologna - Science Department for the Quality of Life of Rimini, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and with the patronage of ANICA. The event is back again in 2021 to support and spread the culture and values of the film industry and all its related sectors, which are among the most affected by the crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
An opportunity for dialogue that will obviously take place according to the protocols for the prevention of coronavirus.
The Film Festival is proposed with a rich program of free events, full of screenings, masterclasses, training moments, meetings, up to the final ceremony for the "Cinema and Industry" award which in 2021 will be conferred, by the jury chaired by Pupi Avati, to to the Italian director, screenwriter and producer Dario Argento.
A largepart of the program is dedicated to the memory of Federico Fellini, to his art and his genius, and to the centenary of Giulietta Masina' s birth, so as to continue the celebrations for the great Master in the year of the Fellini museum opening.
Rimini Film Festival Opening Night: on 30 September with the reading "The spirit of Juliet" by Marina Massironi and the presentation of Valpharma for cinema, in the historic cinemal in corso d’Augusto frequented by Fellini when he was a child, the Fulgor.
