In Rimini 10 days dedicated to the world of Moto GP and its protagonists

On the occasion of the MotoGP, the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini, scheduled 11th - 13th September on the circuit "Marco Simoncelli" in Misano, Rimini proposes an exceptional program dedicated to the passion for motorbikes.
In the spaces of the Teatro Galli are set up special photo exhibitions to relive two decades of the history of motorbike. At Teatro Novell will be the screened the documentary film dedicated to the racing world narrated by a star of cinema such as Brad Pitt, and other initiatives as the Aqua Battle, a challenge in water scooters between the MotoGP riders.

Exhibition of the best shots of the Moto Grand Prix of the international photo contest

The photographers of the MotoGP will be on the track.
The MotoGP "Rimini racing shot" is an international photo contest set up by Gigi Soldano and organized by the Municipality of Rimini in collaboration with Nikon Italy and with the support by Dorna. The contest will award the most beautiful and exciting shot of the 2015 MotoGP season. A photo competition that aims to tell the speed, the adrenaline, the passion of "racing" through spectacular shots, which are collected in an exhibition set up from 4th to 13th September  at the Teatro Galli in Rimini. It is one of the events that will accompany the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini, scheduled from 11th to 13th September in Misano.
The most exciting image will be choosen by a special panel of experts - drivers, team managers, journalists - to which will be added the ‘likes’ on social network. The photos will in fact be published on a Facebook page www.facebook.com/riminiracingshot
The award ceremony of the contest is scheduled at the Teatro Galli, Thursday 10th September at 8 pm. There will also be a special prize to the best shot taken 'in the right place at the right time'.
 "Rimini Racing shot" is carried out in collaboration with D-Perf and Neon Rimini and is one of the official events of the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini.

The bikes of MotoGP, suits and helmets of the champions, signed by an author: Aldo Drudi

After the public success last year, Rimini proposes the exhibition carried out by Aldo Drudi, an internationally renowned designers from Romagna. In the space of the Foyer of the Teatro Galli there will be possible to admire the bikes of the official teams participating in the championship: Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Aprilia, along with suits and helmets worn by the champions such as Valentino, Marquez, Iannone, Crutchlow, Redding, Espargaro, Bautista, Petrucci and Smith.

Photo exhibition of shots by great photographer from the 70 to 90 years.

In addition to photos on display of the competition 'Rimini Racing shot' there is set up a special section dedicated to one of the great photographers in the world of motorcycle racing: Takanao Tsubouchi. A tribute that will allow visitors to take a leap into the past through a selection of images of races from the seventies to the nineties shot by the great photographer, who through his images tells the fabulous world of motorcycles in over 30 years of competitions.

MotoGP riders challenge each other in a water scooter race

In the calendar of events of the 'Rimini Motor Soul’ there is a new entry: AQUA BATTLE, the challenge in water scooters between the MotoGP riders along with some guests. The race on Wednesday 9th September will take place in stretch of water in front of the public beach, near the Ferris Wheel in Rimini. In total there are 16 riders who will take part in the competition and there will also set up a mini village.

Rimini Motor Soul - Hitting the Apex

First screening in Italy of the documentary film about the MotoGP narrated by Brad Pitt

Through the courtesy of the ScreenLive Entertainment and Universal Pictures Italia Home Entertainment, it is proposed a premiere showing of ‘Hitting the Apex’, the documentary on the MotoGP written and directed by Mark Neale and narrated by Brad Pitt. The film traces the challenges (and destiny) of six among the fastest drivers of all time, Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Marco Simoncelli, Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez: stories of rivalry and friendship. It is a frame of life of the protagonists (on and off the track), in the story narrated by Brad Pitt, who is a big fan of motorcycling.
The film is in English language
The film will be released in Italian cinemas on 23rd and 24th September 2015 while it will be available in Blu-ray and DVD from 7th October 2015.
