While the Paris Impressionists were painting the strolling along the Seine and the ladies on the riverside of the 'Grand-Jatte', the photographers in Romagna began to depict another 'Belle Epoque' in the frame of the seashore of the Adriatic sea at the end of the nineteenth century.
The first bathing season of Rimini is almost simultaneous to the first photo shots. The photography has allowed to stop time to give a remembering full of meaning and suggestion.
Through the images on exhibition it is possible to view the Kursaal bathing establishment and the first sun umbrellas among the hydrotherapy facilities and the pagodas on the seashore.
The photos on display will be a discovering of similarities and differences in dresses and gestures along with architectures and establishments that no longer exist.
