The section of the 73 Malatesta Music Festival dedicated to contemporary music, Percuotere la mente, proposes the music of José Gonzalez, a Swedish musician of Argentine origin.
After his last work in studio, "Local Valley" he finally returns to Italy, stopping in Rimini.
Local Valley, Gonzalez says, “was born as a natural consequence of the various styles I have explored over the years. I promised myself to write songs with the same characteristics: short, melodic and rhythmic, a mixture of classical folk songwriting and pieces with influences from Latin America and Africa. It is a work that goes beyond the previous ones but no less personal. On the contrary, I feel more comfortable than ever in saying that this record reflects me and my thoughts in this moment ”.
