Rimini's old town center hosts the 22nd edition of "Color Coriandolo".
Two days of celebration in the historic center, which becomes an open-air arena for shows and music, with artists, jugglers, musicians, acrobats, pyrotechnic effects.Games, dances, colors, parades, masks, jokes and fun, these are the ingredients to celebrate Carnival in the streets and have fun for a widespread entertainment in the historic centre of Rimini.
On Sunday 11 February the city comes alive with  jugglers, dancers, musicians and with the Brass Band, six colorful musicians who move among the notes of their brass instruments, spreading a contagious joy. The Africa Acrobats wil perform human pyramids, aerial evolutions, and breathtaking acrobatic numbers offered with the vitality of African dance and the freshness of contemporary circus. An enthralling show of high visual impact, which unleashes energy and leaves the audience with bated breath until the last vault.
Tuesday 13 February, Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday, is celebrated with an evocative performance by artists with spectacular costumes, magical creatures coming from the moon. Stilt-walkers, acrobats and dancers move among the participants, creating luminous living pictures. Their dance, like a magical ritual, allows young and old to detach themselves from the ground and be transported, to the notes of enchanting melodies, into a dreamlike and mysterious dimension. The skill of the performers and the astonishing light effects provide an unmissable show. 
To accompany the parades of masks and the games, Radio Bruno, protagonist of the musical animation of the day.
In both days children and parents will be able to embark on a fascinating voyage around the world, discovering the most diverse and folkloristic dances: from the overwhelming rhythm of the samba, to the stirring movements of belly dancing, from the charm of the tango to the wildest hip pop, from Irish dances to the melodies of the most popular musicals. 
From 9 January to 14 February, and for the entire Carnival period, the enchanting French merry-go-round returns to Piazza Cavour with its magical wheel made of lights, wooden horses and carriages of yesteryear. An old-fashioned amusement, which still makes children and adults dream, as they relive their childhood memories.
