Italian Railways: Rimini station


Trains arriving from Bologna, Bari and Ravenna stop at the central station in Rimini.
The connections are provided by regional and fast trains, joining Turin and Milan, with the Adriatic Coast (Rimini, Ancona, Pescara, Foggia, Bari, Lecce and Taranto).

The central station is located just a short walk from the historic centre of Rimini and about 1 km from the sea. It overlooks the re-qualified square named after Don Oreste Benzi.

Among the services:
- an AED equipment is available inside the building of Rimini central station. Rimini was the first railway station in Italy to have an AED, as the equipment was donated in 2002 by ASCOR Rimini and it is still one of the few. Some railwaymen and police agents are trained and up-to-date to use the AED in case of need.  
- Freccia Desk: a service dedicated to Frecce and intercity customers.
- Fast Track, priority access
- Tourist Information Office (IAT)
- a luggage and bicycle storage service is at disposal c/o Bike Park Rimini


Besides the central station, Rimini has other four minor railway stations:

STAZIONE DI MIRAMARE for local trains going southward, direction Ancona. Automatic ticket dispenser. Ticket selling points: 
-Tabaccheria viale Oliveti 81 or viale Marconi 6 (closed on holidays)

STAZIONE DI VISERBA for local trains going northward, direction Ravenna. Automatic ticket dispenser. Ticket selling points:
-Bar edicola c/o railway station, via Curiel 11 (open every day)
-Tabaccheria via Curiel 34 (closed on holidays)

STAZIONE DI TORRE PEDRERA for local trains going northward, direction Ravenna. Automatic ticket dispenser. Ticket selling points:
- Tabaccheria via Tolmetta 22 (closed on holidays)
- Tabaccheria via San Salvador 36a (in summer: open every day)
- Tabaccheria via Porto Palos 150b Viserbella (closed on holidays)
- Tabaccheria via San Salvador 168b (closed on holidays)

STAZIONE RIMINI FIERA, on the Milano - Bari train line, allows visitors to get off the train right in front of the Expo Centre's main entrance on the occasion of exhibitions, when up to 32 trains stop there every day. For the Train Timetable, click on the Trenitalia website, keying in Riminifiera as the departure or destination station and the exact date of arrival or departure. During the main exhibitions, there is a Trenitalia ticket counter in the expo centre.
