From April to October Germany and Rimini Riviera are closer
From April 2nd to October 3rd, 2026: daily connection from Munich and Innsbruck to the Adriatic Riviera.
A daily train service for approximately 6 months, stopping in Bologna, Cesena, Rimini, Riccione, and Cattolica.
The connection is made by the German DB and Austrian ÖBB railways with the new RailJet New Generation trains, latest-generation vehicles designed by Siemens, combining speed and comfort. Equipped with Wi-Fi, a total of 532 seats and a maximum speed of 230 km/h, they also offer space for wheelchairs, prams, bicycles and sports equipment.
Tickets will be available at bahn.de.
Timetable: The RJ 83 train departs Munich at 9.23 am, arriving in Cesena at 5.02 pm, Rimini at 5.30 pm, Riccione at 5.50 pm and Cattolica at 6.16 pm. The return journey with RJ 82 will leave Cattolica at 12.16 pm.
Each RailJet train offers: 430 seats in economy class, 86 in first class and 16 in business class; a multifunctional carriage with seats for the disabled and low-floor boarding, supports for bicycles, skis and snowboards and on-board catering with a restaurant and three snack.
