The Palazzo del Fulgor - Fellini Museum - is hosting an extraordinary exhibition dedicated to the Santarcangelo painter Pino Boschetti (1944 - 2022), who, through his images, told the stories and people of his native Romagna with imaginative irony. The monographic exhibition consists of 92 oil paintings and 30 preparatory drawings, in which he immortalised moments of life and landscapes that are an integral part of the emotional and identity heritage of Romagna. Boschetti, a self-taught artist and keen observer of his country's daily life, takes us on a visual journey that recounts the reality of Romagna with irony and gentleness, bringing out a poetic style made up of everyday details and dreamlike visions.
The exhibition is part of a larger cultural project, ‘Lingue di confine’, dedicated to art in dialect, which explores the profound connections between the mother tongue and artistic expressions through poetry, theatre and painting.
Opening on Saturday 3 August at 6 p.m.
