The public space 'Grotta Rossa' hosts a concert by Peine Perdue, a French duo of minimal wave in the music field. The duo is on tour with their new album "Nuit Blanche".
The event is organized in collaboration with Tardigrada, a radio broadcasting by the Dj Eli Felici on air every Monday at 10 pm on Radio Talpa, the new web radio from Cattolica.
The live concert by Peine Perdue begins at 10 pm. Follows DJ set by Paolino Zlaia (Lost in Transmission) and Eli Felici (Tardigrade).
Biography of the duo:
Peine Perdue is a group born in Paris in 2010 by the meeting of the artists Stephane Argillet (The Coatie, France Fiction) and Coco Gallo.
Their first single, "Amor Paresse", accompanied by a self-produced video, caught the attention of the minimal wave music and it brought them to the first series of concerts in Paris, Brussels and Berlin.
A first audio cassette was released after the second single "Je peaches" by the label Manchester Underground Vocoder Tapes, followed by an EP containing by the cult label Kenkrackh Records in 2013.
The cold and melancholic synthpop by the French duo has its roots in film world, phantasmagoric, synthetic and nebulae sensual waves and minimal. The dance mathematics meets the daydream in their first album "No Gift", published in 2014 by ColdBeatsRecords and it was selected as the second best album of the year by Vice Magazine.
After two months of touring across Europe, in April and May 2014, a new album "Disparitions" is released by the American label Medical Records. Afterwards the duo starts a new tour in Europe and Canada. In 2016 was released their third album "Nuit Blanch" with which they are on tour.
