The gardening exhibition with the best Italian plants experts comes back to Rimini for the autumn edition 2018. A fixed appointment for all gardening lovers who recognize in this show quality and prestige, an opportunity to find rare plants and essences and share knowledge of the culture of green in all its forms and expressions.
From the sea to the center, from Fellini Park to Sismondo Castle: Giardini d'Autore, has a new home. And more than a house it is a palace: Castel Sismondo in Piazza Malatesta will host the autumn edition of Giardini d'Autore. Crossing the threshold of the Castel, the public will be enchanted by the autumn flowers : collections of ornamental sage, grasses, Japanese anemones, maples, hydrangeas, roses, aquatic plants, tropical plants, chili peppers coming from all the world and ancient fruits, unusual varieties of ornamental pumpkins, shrubs, edible plants, historic citrus, fuchsias, aromatic plants, dahlias, echinaceae and many other plant curiosities to create real “Giardini d'Autore” and color the green spaces all winter long. And while the nurserymen will exalt the outdoor spaces of the Cortile del Soccorso, the gardeners and the designers of the open spaces will embellish the internal rooms of the wing dedicated to Isotta degli Atti, Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta's  most beloved wife.
In this new edition of Giardini d'Autore at Castel Sismondo there will be many off appointments for the public: from the "Secret Garden" -a circuit that discover the most beautiful secret gardens in the historic city center- to green installations that mark the trends of the garden design by a mixture of plants, furnishings and original ideas.

The youngest plants are the ones that deserve more care.
That's why we care so much about the garderners of the future. Giardini d' Autore begins well in advance for them thanks to creative workshops and surprise stories at the "Libreria dei Ciliegi" in via Bertola 53 Rimini.

Tuesday 18th September at 5,00 p.m. “Basta una foglia”, creative workshop on reservation. Max 20 places for kids from 7 years old.
