The Galli Theater hosts the fifth edition of the Rudolf Noureev Competition conceived by Daniel Agésilas (former Director of the National Conservatory in Paris), and Maria Perchiazzi Guaraldi (organizer of international events in the world of dance), with the sponsorship of the Noureev Foundation and the collaboration of the Municipality of Rimini.
The event aims to transmit to the younger generations the memory of the extraordinary choreographic works, which still today are part of the repertoire of the largest companies in the world.
The competition is open to young students and professional dancers aged 15 to 24.
In conjunction with the competition, two types of stages will be held: one open to the youngest dancers, a dance and atelier workshop on the Noureev repertoire, from 9 to 14 years of age, with classical and contemporary classes held by Elisa Scala, dance school teacher at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and Jean Alavi, Professeur Danse Contemporaine du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Paris.
A second exclusive stage, reserved for pre-selected dancers aged 14 and over, who will be able to take part in the morning class and an hour's study of the Noureev repertoire with the three Étoiles of the Opéra National de Paris and artistic heirs of Noureev, Monique Loudières, Elisabeth Maurin and Wilfried Romoli, plus a contemporary class with Jean Alavi. 
On Sunday 21 July, the award-winning candidates will be announced in an evening open to the public. Promising young talents of international dance will perform on the Galli stage together with the participation of a special guest: Polina Semionova - Principal Dancer at the American Ballet Theatre. Also on stage will be Max Darlington, a professional dancer from the Paris Opera, who has already won 1st Prize in the Concorso Noureev in 2021.
