Theme Park and Historical Museum

This Park opened on the 2nd April 1995.
On display about 40 planes featuring some conflicts of the postwar period (Korea, India-Pakistan, Vietnam, Iran-Iraq, Gulf, Afganistan, Bosnia)
The route to walk is over 2 kms long; you can even get on board Clark Gable's plane where Marylin Monroe, John and Ted Kennedy, Frank Sinatra and Ronald Reagan flew.
The fighter planes MiG-23, Phantom and Lockheed F-104 are on display too.
There is also a covered pavillion to visit: it hosts uniforms, flight suits, photos (even new), decorations and medals (three gold glass showcases) got by the biggest figures of the period (Balbo, King Vittorio Emanuele III, D'Annunzio, Mussolini, Finzi, Pellegrino...).
Footages or whatever of the time when Italy was able to compete with United States, Great Britain, France, Germany in the aviation field are also projected in a special room.

This Park offers a buffet service, a playing area for children and facilities for disabled persons. The visit cannot take you less than two hours; on request free guided tours for groups. Next to the entrance a large car parking and an heliport are available. Furthermore you are reminded that the Park has an agreement with some restaurants you can book at the Park's entrance desk. In June - August, excursions by helicopter (booking is required).
