At the end of a long process of recovery and restoration, the Teatro Amintore Galli was inaugurated on October 2018. This extraordinary cultural space has returned to its former glory after 70 years to host artistic events. A jewel already conceived by Luigi Poletti as a temple of music inspired by the solemnity and sumptuousness of the Roman temples, proposing a variant of the Italian theater, with a classical (Greek-Roman) and monumental architectural imprint. Today it presents itself with with large stalls, three rows of boxes and the gallery for an available number of 800 seats. The theater hosts performances of great music, operas and international events such as the Malatesta Music Festival. In the frame of the refined decorations, the theater season takes place with the excellence of classical Italian prose and avant-garde reviews, including local voices and shows offered by Italian and foreign artists. On stage, choreographies and world famous ballets perform with dance stars such as Roberto Bolle. See the reference site.
A theater faithful to its history, but with a look to the future thanks to a cutting-edge technological equipment: the stage machine is totally computerized, touch screen panels for the 'green' room lights and two lighting control consoles scene. A technological audio and video system to enhance the charm of each kind of performance.
The theater is also provided with a Music Room and a Ballet Room, available for rehearsals.
The orchestra pit (mystical gulf) is mobile, divided into two platforms, so as to be able to host works with the complete orchestra while on the occasion of the prose shows part of it can be used to host the public.
The 'Galli' theatre also has an audio and video recording room for streaming and for recording events.
Guided visits to the various spaces of the theater are scheduled throughout the year. For information and reservations: 329 2103329 - 0541 704426/28
