Three days of music, shows, art exhibitions and creative workshops, which will take place in different locations in the city with the participation of local and national artists.
The initiative, dedicated to Thomas Balsamini, manager and DJ of the Slego and Velvet club in Rimini, who has made a significant contribution to the development of live, rock and other music in Romagna, comes from an idea of his friends and collaborators on the tenth anniversary of his death, starting on Friday 9 June with event in the seaside area of Rimini and Rockisland, to then move to the historic center on Saturday 10 with the concert by Skunk Anansie and, ending on the hill where the Velvet, the venue that saw Skin and his band perform in the 90s. Here on 11 June i Subsonica perform with an acoustic concert on the lake at sunset. Velvet dj set will follow. The event has a charity purpose and the profits will be donated to Ail Rimini.

Ultrasuoni Rimini: three days of music dedicated to Thomas Balsamini

Skunk Anansie return to Rimini in homage to Thomas Balsamini.
The British band performs on Saturday evening in Piazza Malatesta, in memory of Thomas Balsamini, with whom frontwoman Skin has had a special bond since the beginning of her career.
It is the flagship event within the context of 'Ultrasuoni Rimini', three days of music dedicated to the founder of Velvet, a person who contributed a lot to the development of live music, rock and else, in Romagna.
The initiative started from an idea of Balsamini's friends and collaborators on the tenth anniversary of his death. Start on Friday 9 June with events at the seaside area of Rimini, and end on Sunday 11 June on the hill, in Sant'Aquilina, where the Velvet once stood ,and which saw Skin and his group perform in the 1990s.
The event has a charity purpose and the profits will be donated to Ail Rimini.

Three days of music dedicated to Thomas Balsamini

As part of Ultrasuoni Rimini,an event dedicated to Thomas Balsamini, founder of Velvet, concert by Subsonica.
In the 'Baldoria' club, on the hill, where the Velvet once stood, and all around the lake, from 4.30 pm live acoustics, DJ sets and picnics. At sunset, 7 pm, acoustic concert on the lake by Subsonica. From 10pm to 12am Velvet DJ set.
Subsonica is an Italian electronic rock band born in Turin in 1996 from the union of some exponents of the alternative music scene: Samuel (singer), Max Casacci (producer and guitarist), Boosta (keyboardist), Ninja (drummer), and Pierfunk (bassist), later replaced by Vicio in 1999.
The band, influenced by the most experimental musical languages, has created a sound combining electronic sounds, typically Italian melodic incisiveness and great energy on stage. Subsonica are, in fact, unanimously appreciated for the power of their live performances.
They are currently in the studio recording their tenth album.
