Goofy, the most beloved dazed character in the world of comics, turns 90.

For the occasion, it is celebrated by Cartoon Club with an exhibition inside the Museum of the City of Rimini. The exhibition is curated by Federico Fiecconi and Alberto Brambilla.

Goofy first appeared in the short film Mickey's Revue in 1932 under the name of Dippy Dawg.

Immediately characterized by his unmistakable laugh, he takes his definitive name of Goofy two years later, but it is with the comics of the legendary Floyd Gottfredson that he really acquires his irreplaceable role as Mickey Mouse's sidekick.

The exhibition opens with an original strip by this author, from 'Mickey Mouse in the haunted house' (1936), to then tell the evolution of the character in the following decades.

Thanks to the contribution of private collectors, original comic and animation drawings are exhibited to retrace his career, up to the drawings of the Italian cartoonists who celebrated him on the weekly publication Topolino.
