Food itineraries 'on the road' that speak of the local territory through the best of its street foods. It's called Rimini Street Food and it is the first guide 'on the road' dedicated to street foods. A journey that passes through 95 places and that touches as many 'stalls' telling the culture of an area through its places of excellence, the authenticity of its craftsmen, their knowledge and their tastes. There are no signs that indicate these street food ‘temples’, and this is why Rimini Street Food was born which offers a selection of the best ‘baracchini’ on the road which is now a real guide and an App to download on smart phones. The project takes you to discover the true flavors of this land, taking you to an emotional journey through the values of authenticity and passion that characterize Rimini, its people and its products.
Born from the collaboration of the Municipality of Rimini and world famous brands like Rolling Stone and Ducati Motor Holding, Rimini Street Food is a unique opportunity to discover places that are really fascinating but little known to tourists. Paths to follow on bike or with a motorbike with a map that indicates the main artisans that work in this area, working and creating excellent products in their workshops. Starting from the piada, but also fruit, pork, ‘cassoni alle erbe’, mini pizzas, hot dogs…
Rimini Street Food is a paper guide that can be found in Rimini's hotels and the town’s tourist information centre. A simple and lightweight map to be kept within arm’s reach – on the car’s dashboard, in the motorbike document holder, in the basket of a bicycle – to begin discovering all the wonders on the road to Rimini.
Rimini Street Food is also a web app (based on the online contents on www.riministreetfood.com), or a smartphone and iPad application, which allows you to access the map of the Rimini Street Food kiosks, geo-locating their position and calculating the shortest way to your chosen location. The app is constantly up-dated
