The Malatesta elephant is the mascot of 2003 holidays in Rimini
The Guide
Printed in 100,000 copies and translated into four languages (English, German, Russian and French), the Rimini guide is intended to be a handy and easy-to-consult tool for those moving around the more classic seaside ‘postcard’ while at the same time suggesting a series of ideas for discovering a modern city with over two thousand years of history behind it.
Monuments, museums, infrastructures such as the Trade Fair and the Darsena, Fellini's Rimini, theme parks, cycle paths, a historic centre to admire and experience, gastronomy, and itineraries are all recounted at a glance thanks to the new folding format.
The folders
Together with the guide, in a real tourist kit, a colourful binder containing four thematic ‘folders’ dedicated to Children's, Youth, Senior's holidays and the main Events 2003.
Here, the beach dominates with all its opportunities from zero to 100 years of age: sports activities, the parties of the Tourist Committees from Gradisca onwards, entertainment for all ages and the latest novelties under the sun. The journey continues and is divided into the three target groups covered: theme parks for the kids, discos and pubs for the youngsters, crafts and gastronomy for the older ones.
Printed in 200,000 copies and translated into 4 languages, the folders are present, together with the guide, in the six Rimini Iat Offices, at the Urp, as well as at the main fairs and events dedicated to the tourism industry.
Gadgets
Backpacks, shoulder bags, canvas bags, postcards, and T-shirts for young and old complete the range of promotional gadgets offered by the Rimini Municipal Tourism Department.

The Malatesta elephant represents the ideal link with our history and identity, a modern interpretation of the fundamental figure in the heraldry of the Lords of Rimini, which can be found in many places in our Basilica. The new materials are a small step forward in the administration's active presence in the promotional sphere and constitute an agile tool for an ideal journey through the thousands of opportunities on offer and welcom
