The Montefeltro landscape represents for its historical and cultural characteristics, an unique territory. In the project 'Montefeltro, Renaissance Sights' are proposed guided tours to discover the places that inspired the greatest artists of the fifteenth century, such as Piero della Francesca and Leonardo da Vinci. It is properly this landscape that Leonardo has chosen as a setting behind of his famous masterpiece: La Gioconda.
The guided tours are continuing Wednesday 1st November with Hunting and fishing with the Duke: Urbania Court and Renaissance art excellence. After admiring the beauties of Urbania there will be proposes an unusual visit to Barco Ducale of Urbino. Duke Federico’s park was dedicated to migratory fauna hunt and connected to the Ducal Palace by a river.
Sunday 12th November is proposed Soldiers and angels on the peaks of Valmarecchia. It is a cultural trekking in the highland of Valmarecchia, looking for the tracks of the ancient Montecopiolo castle and the rare landscape: the Nativity by Piero Della Francesca.
