Rimini celebrates The World Refugee Day with an afternoon of events, performances and information points by the local associations working with refugees.
There will be initiatives for all ages: from living library to telling of fairy tales, from language laboratories to games, and exhibitions of photos and items produced in workshops organized for refugees in the territory. Not to be missed are the live music and dance performances along with tastings of sweets and drinks.
The initiative is promoted by the SPRAR projects (the protection system for asylum seekers and refugees in Rimini, active in Italy since 2001) together with the associations "Rimini Porto Sicuro" and "Karibu Rimini" and in collaboration with all those who manage hospitality centers for temporary humanitarian emergency and associations working for integration.
The events dedicated to the refugees continue throughout the weekend with the festival 'Molticolori' c/o the parish of San Lorenzo in Correggiano.
