In the unique setting of the port of Rimini 80 DJs and 100 fishermen will come together to transform 12 fishing vessels into floating DJ booths and two locations on the waterfront into dance halls, the latter for lovers of smooth and Latin music.
On Saturday the 25th of June the Molo Street Parade is back with its fifth edition, ready to beat records both in terms of crowd numbers and music offer.
Each vessel will have its own sound soul, curated by a diverse artistic staff coordinated by the Rimini Port Consortium, to offer the most diverse music genres from from dusk to late at night; from dance to rock, from Latin to smooth, from house to electro. The port of Rimini will be transformed into an open-air dance floor for a highly unique time of festivities and music, not to mention the pleasures of the palate provided by the fishermen of the “Linea Azzurra” Consortium who will provide the crowd with more than 1000kg of caught, cleaned and roasted sardines.
The Molo Street Parade is never short of surprises, and the first super-guests announced only serve to confirm this: we are referring to Klingande, Jay Santos, Lele Sacchi and Matt Nash who, along with another 80 DJs, will provide a unique crossover of musical styles and trends.
The over 80 DJs including Rame, Ricky Montanari, Molella, Dirty Channels, Rudeejay and many more, wil be chosen by 12 local venues, each of which has ‘adopted’ a fishing vessel to transfer the best of their artistic offerings to the water: Velvet, Jole, Ghunter Holding di Pisa, Guenda Oversize, Radio Bruno, Altro Mondo Studios, Fuera, Pop up, Alkimy, Coconuts, Workshop Signal Hills, m2o.
In addition to the right side of the port, the Tintori waterfront which runs from piazzale Boscovich to piazzale Fellini will also see clubs and restaurants overlooking the area create veritable piazzas to offer the best in entertainment; there will also be 2 dance halls for lovers of smooth music, in the skating area, with Casadei Danze, and in front of Coconuts with the Gran Caribe group for lovers of Latin music.
Also this year, the long weekend of Molo Street Parade is enriched with more content, thanks to Molo Green Parade and Molo Extreme Beach.
