Rimini's New Year’s Eve: Coez and Planet Funk in concert greet the new year from Rimini

One of the most interesting singer-songwriters on the Italian music scene, Coez, with his crossover of genres between rap and pop will perform on the "sea view" stage in Piazzale Fellini at 10.15pm. Free entry.
The singer-songwriter, fully entered in the history of streaming and discography, who is presenting on the stages of the most important arenas in Italy his “E’ sempre bello in tour”, will be in Rimini for the new year's eve concert.
After the recent sold out at the Mediolanum Forum, Coez will arrive in Piazzale Fellini with his historical band and the hits that made his musical history (Ali Sporche, Lontana da me, E yo mamma, Siamo morti insieme, La musica non c’è, Le Luci della città) and the songs of the most recent record production, for over two hours of music.

At the stroke of midnight, the great fireworks show behind the stage in Piazzale Fellini, between the winter sea and the Grand Hotel dear to Fellini. After the fireworks, the center of gravity of the party moves and continues into the historic center until late at night, invading the city squares and streets with notes, lights and unique scenery.
 
First stop in Piazza Cavour, the heart of the Rimini Dance Reunion, starting from 10.00pm, Ayron dj and Sammy from the Music Academy Rimini, then Paolo-Nhe from Ghetto46. At midnight an unusual dance floor among the historical deejays of the legendary Paradiso, Cellophane and Barcelona discos with, Gianni Morri, Max Padovani (Paradiso), Duke dj and Mad Bob (Cellophane), together with Roberta Lanfranchi and Claudio Guerrini (RDS 100% GRANDI SUCCESSI).
 
A few steps away, in the Francesca da Rimini arena, starting from 10.00pm the deejays of Velvet and Slego will bring a window on the musical and artistic world of the two legendary clubs with Dj Gianma​ and Fullnelson  for a night of music and fun.Then  Gianni Parrini, Alfredo Zanca ( Ciccio Dj) and Gippo Angelini (Barcelona Disco).

Between the ramparts of Castel Sismondo and the reborn walls of the Galli Theater, Piazza Malatesta hosts the concert that will animate New Year's Eve in the historic center of Rimini
Matteo Mussoni, a young D.J. from Rimini, will fire up the square from 10pm, then DAN: ROS will take possession of the console and make the square dance.
It will then be the turn of one of the most famous Italian groups in the world. Their electronic rock is permanently on every radio in the world, their successes always ready to be danced: the PLANET FUNK. The band will present an electronic version of the new album and the their hits of the last 15 years, in collaboration with some of the greatest producers of the international scene who remixed the band's most famous songs. The historical founder of the band Alex Neri in the role of DVO (director virtual orchestra), Marco Baroni at the synths & keyboards and the original voice of the band, Dan Black.
The party will continue until the morning with two big names in electronic music: Daniele Baldelli, one of the first Italian deejays, who has forged a new music and created genres like afro -cosmic, and Richy Montanari who returns to his hometown; there is no club in the world that does not play his music and not recognize him as one of the most valid DJs on the electronic scene.

One of the most evocative spaces in the historic center of Rimini, the Agostiniani Complex, will host, starting from 10.00pm, a double musical event that will bring together the Latin rhythms by the GRANCARIBE staff and Rafael Nuñez and DJ Claudio Ceccoli, with the rock / electronic sounds that will be staged in the Sala Pamphili, with guest DJ Cirillo, an icon of techno music in the world.
 
In the City Museum, music meets art. In the Judgment Hall among the fourteenth-century Rimini frescoes, at 10.15pm concert by ART TRIO and the soprano Gloria Paci.
From 9.00pm to 2.00am the museum will be open with free entry.
Extraordinary opening at the surgeon's Domus among the mosaics in the rooms of Eutyches, where, at 10.45pm the Miami and the Groovers will perform in a concert which is a journey to the roots of folk music, dixieland, blues, country,rock and soul.

The exhibition offers extra openings for the holidays and will be open until 2am with reduced entrance fee on the New Year's Eve. Guided tours are possible every half an hour from 9pm

New Year's Day Opera at the Galli Theater:Rigoletto
Within the "The longest New Year's Eve in the World", the stage of the Galli Theater will be inaurated this year by Giuseppe Verdi's "Rigoletto", divided into three acts, with libretto by Francesco Maria Piave.
The Opera, a new production by the 'Coro Lirico città di Rimini Amintore Galli APS', is directed by Paolo Panizza. Massimo Taddia, will be conducting the Orchestra of the Opera School of the Municipal Theater of Bologna and the Opera Choir of Rimini Amintore Galli.
Main characters: the Duke of Mantua (Carmine Riccio); Rigoletto, Court buffoon (Andrea Zese baritone); Gilda, daughter of Rigoletto (Giulia Della Peruta -1 and 4 January- and Ayako Suo – 3 January- sopranos); Sparafucile, (Paolo Battaglia, bass); Maddalena, sister of Sparafucile (Antonella Colaianni contralto);Giovanna, (Elisa Luzi mezzo-soprano, who also perform the role of the Countess of Ceprano); the Count of Monterone (Gaetano Triscari baritone); the knight Marullo (Giuseppe Esposito baritone); the courtier Matteo Borsa (Roberto Carli tenor); the count of Ceprano (Luca Gallo bass); a page of the Duchess (Ilenia Tosatto soprano); a court bailiff (Riccardo Lasi, bass).
