In Rimini the XXXVIII edition of Meeting for friendship among people

Published on: 28 July 2017

Rimini Meeting has taken place every year since 1980. It is an important appointment for encounters, culture, music and entertainment. A crossroad of testimonies and experiences from different and various cultures: lively happenings, unique in their kinds, attracting an audience of more than 800.000 people every year.

What is the Rimini Meeting?
The Meeting for Friendship Amongst Peoples is an encounter among persons of different faiths and cultures, a place for friendship where peace, socialization, and a friendship among peoples may be established. Since the first edition, every year great political personalities, managers, representatives of different religions and cultures, intellectuals and artists, athletes and protagonists of the world scene visit the event. All of this happens in the seven days during which the world’s most attended cultural festival takes place.

Edition 2017
The title of the next Meeting for Friendship Amongst Peoples, taken from J.W. Goethe’s “Faust” is “All that you have, bequeathed you by your father, earn it in order to possess it” and highlights our need to make that which is “bequeathed” to us, truly our own. What is it that we’ve inherited?
