The journey through the city continues between multimedia itineraries of the ancient Ariminum in the Visitor Center, the mosaics of the surgeon's Domus and the rooms of the City museum. The Visitor Center (opening times: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 3.00pm – 7.00pm / Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 10.00am – 1.00pm) offers an immersive and multimedia experience in the Roman history of the city; videos and touch panels allow to discover the life of imperial Rimini. From 2nd June the surgeon's Domus and the city museum will also reopen (opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 7.00pm, closed on Mondays). The surgeon's domus, with its thousand-year-old mosaics and the largest collection of Roman medical instruments ever found, is one of the most intact and important Roman finds (free guided tour every Wednesday, from June 3rd, at 10.30am with max 12 participants. Reservations are required +39 0541.793851). The city museum reopens too, to let people admire the legacies of history that are now preserved in its rooms, such as works by Guercino, Giovanni Bellini, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Giovanni da Rimini, Guido Reni and many other masters. Next to the rich exhibition halls there are large gardens and courtyards that can be used for particular events such as the new series ‘Opere allo scoperto’ (Works in the open), appointments with experts and scholars from Rimini (first appointment on Friday 5 June at 6.00pm: Free, max 12 participants , reservation at +39 0541 793851).

But while in Rimini, don't forget of the 15 kilometers of lovely beaches waiting for you. A beach to live in safety, with more space, more time and more services. A truly 'open space' beach, which dwells on the well-being and protection of bathers. Find out how is the beach in Rimini this year

The theme parks of the Rimini Riviera are perfect for families and groups of friends but also for those who are always looking for something new. The parks are ready to open their doors for a new tourist season, guaranteeing even higher standard of hygiene-health protocols. The first to reopen are: Fiabilandia, a magical place for kids where even adults will have fun, and Aquarium of Cattolica, the largest aquarium on the Adriatic Sea and the second in Italy. From 20th June, it is the turn of Mirabilandia, the adrenaline amusement park and while the other parks of the Costa Edutainment group (Italia in Miniatura, Aquafan and Oltremare) are still preparing the reopening calendars. To ensure the safety of visitors, the parks have adopted extraordinary measures such as detecting body temperature before access, signs to ensure correct distance, sanitizing gel dispenser along the way. The mask will be mandatory for the entire duration of the visit. At the Aquarium all the exhibition routes will be entirely usable, with the exception of the tactile tanks.

San Marino Adventures park immersed in the pine forest of Monte Cerreto, 4 minutes from the center of San Marino, and 20 minutes from Rimini is also ready to reopens for the season, in complete freedom.

Since the end of May, the weekly street market, on Wednesday and Saturday morning, has been taking place regulary in the historic center. It is one of the largest in the Emilia Romagna Region.

As a symbol of summer in Rimini, the Ferris wheel is back and ready for a top view of the 15 kilometers of sandy beaches and of the two-thousand-year-old Tiberius bridge.

The opportunities to live a special holiday do not end here, the tourist offers continue with artistic, cultural and naturalistic itineraries that can be easily combined with tasty food and wine stops to taste typical Romagna dishes, such as the real piadina from Rimini, and with excursions in what was once the Lordship of the Malatesta family, between fortresses and castles, which are now open to the public in complete safety.
