Within the "The longest New Year's Eve in the World", the stage of the Galli Theater will be inaurated this year by Giuseppe Verdi's "Rigoletto", divided into three acts, with libretto by Francesco Maria Piave.
The Opera, a new production by the 'Coro Lirico città di Rimini Amintore Galli APS', is directed by Paolo Panizza. Massimo Taddia, will be conducting the Orchestra of the Opera School of the Municipal Theater of Bologna and the Opera Choir of Rimini Amintore Galli.
Main characters:the Duke of Mantua (Carmine Riccio); Rigoletto, Court buffoon (Andrea Zese baritone); Gilda, daughter of Rigoletto (Giulia Della Peruta -1 and 4 January- and Ayako Suo – 3 January- sopranos); Sparafucile, (Paolo Battaglia, bass); Maddalena, sister of Sparafucile (Antonella Colaianni contralto);Giovanna, (Elisa Luzi mezzo-soprano, who also perform the role of the Countess of Ceprano); the Count of Monterone (Gaetano Triscari baritone); the knight Marullo (Giuseppe Esposito baritone); the courtier Matteo Borsa (Roberto Carli tenor); the count of Ceprano (Luca Gallo bass); a page of the Duchess (Ilenia Tosatto soprano); a court bailiff (Riccardo Lasi, bass).
The Theater Company "RDL Ragazzi del Lago" also participates in the realization of the work.
