Pink Week 2020: from 3 to 9 August, Romagna turns out pink and presents a week of "widespread" and slow events to have fun in total safety

Notte Rosa, the 15th edition of the famous Italian summer party is back in 2020, and returns on the Riviera with a new larger format, for a real pink week, which will run from 3 to 9 August.

The feast will expand over time and space, with highlights on the weekend, 7-8-9 August. On the occasion, once again Romagna will turn out pink, from the beaches to the hinterland passing through the squares of the cities of art, for a week of "widespread" and slow events to have fun in total safety.

Rimini, the heart of Romagna, presents a schedule of over 100 events and many excellent names in music, entertainment and culture, who will performe in large open-air arenas and on our welcoming beaches.

Music will be the protagonist of this Pink Week.
The concerts in the open-air arenas and the live broadcast shows by RDS 100% Grandi Successi will be the soundtrack for this pink week. Highlight on the weekend with:

-Alex Britti, the Italian singer-songwriter and guitarist, who will perform in a blues and jazz concert accompanied by his band, on August 7 at the Arena Lido; 
-Giovanni Allevi, the virtuoso composer and pianist, who will performe on August 8 in an exciting concert at sunrise on the beach in Rimini Terme;
-Francesco Gabbanithe two-time winner of Sanremo Festival, who will be on the stage of RDS 100% Grandi Successi, from the new Belvedere in Piazzale Kennedy, on 8 August.

Every day till 21 August, live broadcast shows by RDS 100% Grandi Successi with Roberta Lanfranchi,Claudio Guerrini and Paolo Piva will animate the Lungomare, from the Belvedere on Kennedy square and dj sets  with Matteo Epis, will keep company at the aperitif time.

To enrich the musical offer, the artists of the project "And they call it Rimini", are engaged in many concerts in the city arenas from 3 to 9 August to promote and support the world of entertainment.
Classical music will also have its pink stage and its artists, with Mihaela Costea, solo violin of theToscanini Orchestra, in concert on Thursday 6 August, and with the Banda città di Rimini, on Saturday 8 August, proposing the "GreatMidsummer Concert", at the Augustinian court.

The beach is the absolute protagonist of this Pink Week with the event "Un Mare di Rosa". On  Friday August 7th from 7.30 pm thousands of lights will make Rimini's beaches, from beach 1 to 150, an evocative stage: thirty shows, including fire performers and music, will animate the beach next to the chiringuites, which will offer their entertainment and special cocktails in pink. A sea of wine, the wine tasting event taking place every year near the sea, returns for the occasion with 50 wineries located along the beach with refreshment  points , where you can taste wines and typical local products.

From 3 to 11 August every evening, in the beatiful setting of the Grand hotel in Rimini, a series of meetings with important personalities from the contemporary world of entertainment and culture will take place, interviewed by the journalist Giovanni Terzi. Among the guests of "La Terrazza della Dolce Vita": Albert II, Prince of Monaco, Lorella Cuccarini, Paola Perego, Simona Ventura, Marco Lodola, Bruno Zanin, Andrea Berton, Saturnino, Raul and Mirko Casadei, Ludovico di Meo, Claudio Brachino, Albano Carrisi (for reservation: congressi@grandhotelrimini.com).

Rimini is also the capital of Wellness, so, throughout the pink week, from the first light at dawn until sunset, there are many fitness courses that take place outdoors in some of the most fascinating and iconic places in Rimini. You can train with Fluxo, from Monday to Thursday, choosing between 25 different disciplines and three different places to carry out sporting activities: the port, the dock and the bridge of Tiberius. Practise Yoga, by the sea or on the fascinating square on the water closed to Tiberius Bridge, following Rimini Yogi's classes, every day at 7:30pm. Walk and train along the Rimini beach with Walk on the beach, or do functional training at the Colonia Bolognese in Miramare, together with the association "Palloncino Rosso".

During the week, there are dozens of possibilities to get to know the city, to discover it on foot or cycling, with guided tours or walking accompanied by experts.
