Pink Week is back from 26 July to 1 August, the long week of the Pink Night in the name of romance, rhythms, atmospheres and suggestions that will color the Romagna, from the hinterland to the sea. And Rimini is ready to play its aces, between music, culture and entertainment, in the name of safety.
Let’s start on Friday 30 July with the festival of literature, music, cinema, art, philosophy, the Milanesiana, conceived and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi, which will stop in Rimini with a program that starts in the early evening with an illustrated lectio by Vittorio Sgarbi dedicated to the great Rimini director Federico Fellini and to the artist Guido Cagnacci, one of the most fascinating and complex figures of the figurative culture of the seventeenth century compared to the genius of the master of twentieth century cinema. This will be followed by a concert by the singer-songwriter, musician, writer, poet, music critic, Marco Morgan Castoldi.
It will then be the turn of the band, protagonist of some of the most interesting moments of the last edition of the Sanremo Festival. The Extraliscio present their hits and the songs from the new album E’ bello perdersi ("It's nice to lose yourself"), released after the end of the adventure in Sanremo where they played the song "BIANCA LUCE NERA".
At dawn on the night between Friday and Saturday, on the beach of Rimini Terme with 'The Legend of Morricone', the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra directed by Giacomo Loprieno which will perform a unique tribute to the music of the great Italian composer Ennio Morricone. An incredible journey through the melodies that are in the collective memory of generations: the evocative power of Mission, The legend of the pianist on the ocean, Once upon a time in the West, Nuovo cinema paradiso, The hateful eight, Once upon a time in America, A fistfull of dollars, Malena. The actor Matteo Taranto is the voice over of the event.
Diodato is the great protagonist of the evening of Saturday 31 July in Rimini.The only Italian artist, who won in the same year, the Sanremo Festival, the David di Donatello , the Nastri d’argento 2020 and the Ciak d’oro 2020 Diodato will be on the Rimini stage with a super band including Rodrigo D'Erasmo on violin, Greta Zuccoli on vocals, Andrea Bianchi on guitars, Alessandro Commisso on drums, Gabriele Lazzarotti on bass, Lorenzo Di Blasi on keyboards, Beppe Scardino on baritone sax and winds and Stefano "Piri" Colosimo on trumpet and brass.
