On 6 January Rimini celebrates Epiphany and the arrival of the Befana, in Italian folklore an old woman who delivers gifts to children on the eve of the Feast to fill their socks with candy and presents if they are good, or a lump of coal or dark candy if they are bad. In Rimini there are many occasions to meet her, starting from the event Befana Borgo Run, a non-competitive walk in Borgo San Giuliano, the old fishing village near Tiberius Bridge or La Pasquella, a tradidional event of the region, typical of the rural tradition, in which peole fully dressed with the traditional 'capparella' walk around wishing good luck for the new year. Do not forget the Epiphany on the Bridge with the naval procession and the adoration of the Three Kings, along the canal port.
