FELLINIANA, broadcast in world premiere for free as a tribute to Federico Fellini by the Artemis Danza / Monica Casadei Company on January 20th on the occasion of the Maestro's 101st birth anniversary, is available in streaming till January 27th.
The performance, initially conceived as the closing event of the celebrations for the centenary of the Maestro, which took place in 2020 and then postponed due to the restrictions related to the health emergency, has been presented on the day of Fellini's birthday, and it is among the initiatives that accompany the inauguration - scheduled for spring 2021 - of the International Museum that the city of Rimini will dedicate to the director.
The show, performed inside the Galli theatre in Rimini, evokes the universe of the great Maestro and his most famous films through Monica Casadei's choreography. The bodies go across dance and contemporary circus, dreams and the real world, accompanied by the unforgettable music composed by Nino Rota for Federico Fellini. An euphoric and sparkling choreography, virtuosity and an irresistible humanity animate this show making it a poetic and sensitive manifesto that celebrates the history of Italian cinema and music.
