Located in the area of ​​the former municipal slaughterhouse, the Rimini Tecnopolo hosts, for now, two laboratories dedicated to industrial research carried out by the University of Bologna.
This is the Laboratory for Energy and the Environment, the section dedicated to the theme of recycling and reuse of waste and technologies for Life Cycle Assessment and Ecodesign, and the Mechanical and Materials Laboratory, the section dedicated to materials and technologies for the fashion industries.
