Exhibitions
Already staged during the summer at the Grand Hotel in Rimini, the exhibition finds a new setting on the third floor of Palazzo del Fulgor, home of the Fellini Museum. The photographic exhibition tells the story of Ugo Tognazzi's life, cinema and thoughts. A complete journey, from his theatrical debut to his experience as a director, focusing on his passions, acting and cooking. The exhibition is accompanied by a selection of theatre and film posters; show scripts and film screenplays, including the first draft of ‘Amici miei’; correspondence and private objects, such as his personal diary. Marking the link with Federico Fellini, which was fluctuating and never blossomed professionally (Tognazzi's greatest working disappointment), a drawing by Federico for Ugo and an illustration in the Domenica del Corriere by Walter Molino for the production of ‘Mastorna’, the film that was never made. The project, curated by Marco Dionisi Carducci and supervised by Ricky Tognazzi, benefits from the archival support of Gianmarco Tognazzi (Ugo Tognazzi House Museum in Velletri), the Experimental Centre of Cinematography and the Luce Cinecittà Institute. On the occasion of the inauguration, Friday 27 September, entrance to the Fulgor Palace is free.
