An evening in honor of June K. Gallagher, the historic founder and director of Arabesque Dance Center.
The indelible mark that this artist has left on the Rimini scene is recognized by all those who had the privilege of meeting her, and even today many of the local and national dance operators admire her person and her art.
For this tribute, June's alumni, (now professional dancers themselves, choreographers, teachers, artists, directors), and former colleagues have enthusiastically and generously re-enacted or revisited excerpts from her extensive repertoire as well as devised previously unreleased works.
In fact, June Gallagher is not only a dancer and teacher, but a brilliant and innovative choreographer and an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Over the years she had a role as a true protagonist in the main Italian and European dance events of her generation.
