Milan’s Ballet is coming back to Novelli Theatre with one of his most exciting ballet: Anna Karenina.
Teet Kask’s choreography focuses on Anna’s person to give an absolutely personal interpretation of the event.
Anna cannot put up with the ignorance of the society in which she lives. The ballet shows Anna’s strength and fragility, but also her nightmares, her inner conflicts.. In the round 20 scenes Kask goes through her history, from the meeting with Vronskij to the suicide.
Tchaikovsky’s music, Marco Pesta’s scenography with Marco Triaca’s original music altogether make the show unique.
