This year the exhibition of Nativity Scenes from the World returns, for the 27th edition, as an itinerant event, being on show in the shop windows of Rimini historic center, so as to be admire in total safety. Numerous shops in the historic center have made their windows available to give space to nativity scenes from different parts of the world. In some cases the window shop was set up together with the immigrants who gave their availability to prepare the nativity scene of their nation, in other cases the nativity scene was offered by the diocesan Caritas to the shopkeepers who then put it on display. In total, twenty nativity scenes in seventeen shops will bring the hope and beauty of Christmas to the city, avoiding crowding situations and allowing visibility of the exhibition from the outside and at the same time supporting the network of economic activities and making migrant communities present in the diocese. An exhortation of hope and an opportunity for reflection, knowledge and religious, cultural exchange that is proposed to the city in order to increase the feeling of fraternity, as the title of the exhibition suggests from the last Encyclical of the Pope.
An initiative by the Caritas Rimini in collaboration with Zeinta de Borg.
Inauguration: Monday 7 December at 11.00am in the Malatesta Temple.
