Among the initiatives accompanying the countdown towards the Grand Départ, scheduled on 29 June with the first stage 'Florence - Rimini', there is also the delivery of the Tour Trophy to Emilia-Romagna by the Metropolitan City of Florence, which in turn had received it on the Champs Elysees stage last July. As a matter of fact, at the end of each edition, the Trophy, created in 2013 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Tour de France, is handed over from the host country of the concluded edition to that of the following year. After stopping over in Bologna and Cervia, Rimini will hold the Trophy from 9 to 15 April, when it remains on display to the public in the foyer of the Teatro Galli. A first opportunity to enter the atmosphere of the most important cycling competition in the world, which will see Rimini as the absolute protagonist with Emilia-Romagna, a land where cycling has deep roots, extraordinary champions and many fans.
