The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is held on 27th January to commemorate the tragedy of the Holocaust that occurred during the Second World War.
Also in Rimini, the commemorative ceremony takes place at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Nazi concentration camps and of all the prisons, in the presence of civil and military authorities, representatives of the several associations and of students from the schools of Rimini.
The Municipality of Rimini has been working on the theme of memory that this year is dedicated to the memory of Grazia Di Veroli (1962-2019).
Besides the commemorative ceremony, several events on the topic, such as books, films and theatre performances will be held in these days.
