Te International Holocaust Remembrance Day is held on 27th January to commemorate the tragedy of the Holocaust that occurred during the Second World War.
Also in Rimini, the commemorative ceremony takes place at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Nazi concentration camps and of all the prisons, in the presence of civil and military authorities, representatives of the several associations and of students from the schools of Rimini.
The Municipality of Rimini has been working on the theme of memory that this year follows this main theme: 'No one will know / that we have seen the demolition of the human being in the Nazi concentration camps'. Besides the commemorative ceremony, several events on the topic, such as in-depth meetings, films and theatre performances will be held in these days.
