On display there are photos from the recent trip by the photographer Gilberto Matteini in Ethiopia, where he met the Afar, a people of strong character, hard and honest, living in this barren land and poor of resources.
This region, the Afar Triangle, is located in the northeast of Ethiopia and Dancalia is a part of this triangle.
It is a volcanic area in geographical depression that reaches 120m below the sea level.
