This year the Rimini State Archives is involved in the National Plan for Education on cultural heritage through the MiBACT educational services with the creation of a documentary and photographic exhibition dedicated to Rimini during the fascist era.
The exhibition, curated by Isabella di Cicco, presents documents and photographs relating to the participation of Rimini in the march on Rome, to public works carried out during the dictatorship, the creation and the role of the colonies, the industrial and tourism development, the damage suffered by the city during the Second World War and to the Resistance movement, following the armistice on 8 September 1943.
Among the participants, the State Archives of Varese, with posters of antialleata propaganda and 360 ° War Research Committee, founded and directed by Walter Cortesi, who for years has been dealing with the identification and recovery of bunkers built during World war II on the Romagna coast.
