The cultural event with conferences, meetings, book presentations, guided tours and shows is back: “The Memory of Time” is the title of this year’s edition.
Several summer appointments from the end of June until July will give the opportunity to read the past, understand the present and build the future with greater awareness.
Experts, scholars, historians and journalists will explore the many facets of memory: from those handed down orally to the writings of the classical and modern ages such as literacy, poetry or journalism.
Several guests will take part of the Festival: historians of the ancient and contemporary world such as Giovanni Brizzi, Giorgio Ieranò, Marcello Flores and Michela Ponzani, sociologist Massimiano Bucchi, writer Alessandro Vanoli and journalists Fabio Isman and Francesca Schianchi.
The calendar of appointments related to books will host exceptional guests such as, among others, Sorbonne historian Giusto Traina, Sapienza archaeologist Marcella Frangipane and the great art historian Mauro Natale.
“Little Ancient World Festival” is the section dedicated to younger children, with numerous games related to the Roman era and interactive activities such as the archaeologist's shovel and much more.
Also, it is possible to join numerous guided tours during the day and the night dedicated to the rediscovery of Rimini's museums and monuments, such as the Underground Rimini, the Surgeon's House, the Roman, medieval and Malatesta Rimini.
