Amarcort Film Festival is an important showcase of international short films in competition, which will include also meetings for schools (as the lessons related to Federico Fellini for high school students) and many other initiatives.
There are four sections in competition: "Amarcort", Italian and foreign short fiction films of max 20 min; "Gradisca", short Italian and foreign fiction films, but of max 4 minutes; "Rex", Italian and foreign animated short films of max 17 minutes; "Fulgor", short fictions from Romagna of max 17 minutes.
There are several news in the 2015 edition, such as the Conference room and the focus on certain European countries, in addition to the final of 'Around the World in 80 short films', the conclusion of a 'tour' which began in March.
In the jury there are prestigious names such as Jacopo Chessa, director of the Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio, Christian Guinot, from the festival of Clermont-Ferrand, Enrico Vannucci, program advisor at the Biennale di Venezia, the actor Stefano Pesce and the director and documentary filmmaker Roberto Naccari. Guest of the event is Fabio Masi who will present “Il decalogo di Vasco” in collaboration with Rai 3.
