Friday 31 May and Saturday 1st June 2024
Sports and Games
3rd edition of the event promoting sport and raising awareness on the protection of the flora and fauna in the Adriatic Sea, which has confirmed Rimini as the centre of celebrations for 2024.
The event, organised by CONI Emilia-Romagna in cooperation with Club Nautico Rimini on the occasion of National Sports Day, will be attended by water and sand sports federations and local sports clubs.
It will be an opportunity to learn more about and try out many water disciplines free of charge, such as sailing, canoeing, motor boating, water skiing with SUP and sport fishing, but also some fun activities to be practised on the beach such as beach handball, beach rugby, beach tennis, tambeach and ultimate frisbee.
New this year is the presence on Saturday of the stand of the Milan-Cortina Foundation, to promote the 2026 Winter Olympics, which will bring the ‘Italy of the Games’ project and the event mascots. Friday and Saturday afternoon there will be a spectacular kite display, while Saturday afternoon will feature the Boy Scouts with their sympathy, anticipated in the morning by the presence of the Rimini youth band.
The men and women of the Coast Guard, the Guardia di Finanza, the Carabinieri, the Fire Brigade, and the State Police will also be protagonists of the event, with some boats on which those present will be able to board to understand their operational functions. A number of operational land vehicles will be on the square. The Cetacea Foundation will also be present, which on Saturday morning at around 11 a.m. will perform the always exciting water release of a cured turtle.
