Palazzo Lettimi

Address:
Via Tempio Malatestiano - Rimini

The aristocratic Carlo de' Maschi had the "palazzo" built in 1506; it passed then to Marcheselli and Lettimi families and to the Municipality in the end. It is one of the most prestigious buildings of the  Renaissance in Rimini, and its ruins still represent a wound from the bombings of the Second World War. At the City Museum you can find some parts of the ceiling portraying stories of Scipio (L'Africano) by Marco Marchetti (1570).
This building, osting the "Giardino degli aromi" court, is waiting to be restored.
