"E SCAION" Association, being named after the iron tool used for the clam fishing, was founded for promoting Viserbella's maritime traditions by setting-up a sea museum, by keeping period documents about local usages and costumes...
Besides manufactured products and fishing tackle, the Museum hosts the Collezione Capici, the most important shell collection in the Mediterranean.
